| Testimonial - National Association of Speedway Racing |

The National Association of Speedway Racing (NASR) is the peak body of Australian speedway racing. NASR represents the interests of all participants in speedway racing including competitors, crews, officials, clubs and track owners and operators.
NASR recognises the need to have a clear strategic direction and recently engaged Sheppard Associates to assist them in their strategic planning process. Representatives of this diverse group of stakeholders from all over Australia met for a one day planning workshop in Adelaide which resulted in the development of specific KRA's (Key Result Areas) and Objectives to guide the future direction of NASR.
Tim McAvaney, General Manager of NASR comments;
“Prior to the workshop a meeting with Terry Sheppard resulted in the formulation of a questionnaire which was forwarded to the workshop participants. This enabled the stakeholders to identify their key issues prior to the workshop which resulted in considerable progress being made in the one day in developing the KRA's and the Objectives.
This was the first time that such a planning day had been conducted for speedway and there was some trepidation on behalf of NASR management. However, largely due to the exceptional facilitation skills of Terry Sheppard all participants had the opportunity to contribute on the day. As measured by the positive feedback from all the participants, this stage of the strategic planning process was seen to be very successful. With further guidance from Terry, NASR is now prepared to move into the implementation phase.
An additional benefit from this workshop is that the diverse group of speedway participants now have a much greater awareness of each other. Speedway in Australia is now poised to move forward with markedly increased unity and commitment.
Many thanks to Terry for his greatly appreciated contributions. We at NASR highly recommend Sheppard Associates.”
