Sheppard Associates has been working with DP World (formerly P&O Ports) for over seven years on a number of major management development projects for the company. One of these projects has been the design and implementation of accredited development programs for supervisors and team leaders working in a stevedoring environment. Over 500 supervisors have completed the Leading The Workplace Program in Australia, North America, India, Pakistan, South Africa and the United Kingdom. This program has been developed specifically for DP World and learning and assessment activities relate directly to the stevedoring industry.
Other projects we have undertaken with DP World include conducting a global development needs analysis for Senior Management: the Leading the Business Program. These projects have given Sheppard Associates crucial expertise in the design and implementation of management development programs, particularly in the design of competency assessment processes which are relevant to the workplace and target specific competencies.
